An On Construction Domestic Energy Assessor (OCDEA) assesses new build properties from plans. They also assess homes undergoing major refurbishment, extensions or other new building work that requires Building Control approval.

Upon completion of your 3 days training course all candidates are required to complete a portfolio of work including 5 examples of energy performance certificate, essentially demonstrating occupational competence by undertaking and sitting an online multiple choice exam.
